This early 2000s Dior tote by John Galliano combines everyday functionality with quietly distinctive design. Crafted from brown grained leather with contrast white stitching, the piece features jeans-inspired front pockets as a playful nod to casualwear reimagined in a luxe material. Antiqued gold-tone hardware and flat leather handles offer versatility, allowing the bag to be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder.
Inside, the brown nylon-lined interior is divided into three compartments—one with a zip closure—plus an additional zip pocket, making it both stylish and practical for daily use.
Comes without dustbag.
Designer Background
Known for his theatrical and often subversive approach, John Galliano brought a sense of storytelling to his designs at Dior. This tote captures a more understated side of his work—where utilitarian references meet refined craftsmanship, creating a piece that’s wearable, grounded, and distinctly of its era.
Condition
Good vintage condition. Rubbing at the corners, consistent with gentle wear. Leather remains supple, stitching intact, and hardware retains its shine. Interior is clean and well-maintained. Internal zipper pull is missing and the leather has light signs of overal wear.
